Italian Deli
Buongiorno Italia Deli & Coffee Bar is a pilar of St Alban’s foodie community. The brief was to create a show case that not only displays Antonio’s incredible food, but to make it a place to hang whilst slurping on your cappuccino. The brief was to combine the the premise of a disused tattoo parlour, a sandwich shop with the existing small deli into one deli. Also, a prep area and kitchen needed to be designed along with a walk-in cooler.
The project won St Albans’ Civic Society Award for interior design.
“Constance was a source of inspiration and ideas ...always helpful and considerate towards achieving what we needed for the extension and refurbishment of our deli, overcoming all setbacks and problems that arose during the works.
The final result ended with the prestigious 2011 Civic society award for best refurbishment in St Albans.
We have always been grateful that we can return to Constance for suggestions in the changes we have made in our image and layout of the store since.”
